Unloading ore concentrates from railcars

Iron and copper concentrate are heavy materials: wet concentrate hangs up, and in winter it freezes. This calls for very powerful impact — up to 550 J from the VH-500 and up to 280 J from the Rockhammer RH-200.

Why concentrates hang up

Wet concentrate hangs up in the railcar body, and in winter it becomes slightly frozen. Ore, concentrates and minerals are heavy materials, and the impact on them has to be very powerful.

Equipment for heavy materials

The VH-500 (up to 550 J, straight to the railcar frame) discharges caked or slightly frozen concentrate from railcars. The Rockhammer RH-200 (up to 280 J) clears bridging and hang-ups in large steel bunkers and silos — powerful but infrequent impacts that do not destroy the welds.
