Railcar vibrators
VH‑500, VH‑500T, VH‑500R, VH‑200 for efficient bulk unloading
Ammonium nitrate, hopper railcar. VH-500: a problem railcar cleared in 5 minutes.
More effective than other railcar vibrators
Pneumatic railcar vibrators VH-500, VH-500T and VH-200 discharge bridged, sticky or slightly frozen bulk cargo from any hopper railcars, cutting unloading time, downtime and operating costs.
Not sure which model? Preliminary selection by cargo and railcar type
Powerful low-frequency impacts help fully unload fertilisers, cement, ore, concentrates and minerals even in wet and freezing conditions — more effective than high-frequency vibrators and more reliable for the railcar unloading process.
Easily managed by one operator
Powerful impact mechanisms, an air preparation unit and rugged steel frames make our railcar vibrators dependable in the toughest operating conditions.
One operator runs the whole process — from the vibrator body or by remote control. The 180° swivelling impact head of the VH-500T unloads two hopper railcars on parallel tracks, cutting labour and unloading time.
Apatite concentrate, hopper railcar. VH-500: one operator is enough to speed up the unloading.
VH-500 standard
Bulk cargo, hopper railcar. VH-500: two vibrators working on one railcar.
The standard version of the VH-500 unloader facilitates the expeditious unloading of bulk materials from hopper railcars. The VH-500 has been designed for ease of use, with the entire unloading operation requiring only a single operator, thereby drastically reducing labour requirements. The product’s robust performance eliminates the need for manual cleaning of railway railcars, saving both time and effort.
Furthermore, the VH-500 is one of the most powerful railcar vibrators on the market, designed to act directly on the railcar’s walls. With an impact force of up to 550 joules per strike, this robust vibrator clears the railcar of bulk material, effortlessly dislodging even the most stubborn loads.
VH-500T turning
Bulk cargo, hopper railcar. VH-500T: one vibrator serving two parallel tracks.
The T-version of the VH-500 unloader offers a faster solution for unloading bulk materials from two hopper railcars situated on parallel railway tracks. Once the first railcar has been unloaded, the rotating head can be manually rotated and locked in the opposite direction by 180°, allowing the second railcar to be unloaded on the parallel track.
The VH-500T is not only one of the most powerful railcar vibrators on the market, applying an impressive impact force directly to the railcar’s walls, and its 180° swivelling head lets a single unit serve two railcars on parallel tracks. Despite its impressive power, the VH-500T has been designed with ease of use in mind. A single operator can effortlessly control and rotate the head manually without strain, ensuring maximum efficiency in your unloading process.
VH-200 mobile
Bulk cargo, hopper railcar. VH-200: faster unloading and cleaning.
Introducing the new VH-200 Mobile Pneumatic Vibrator by Global Technics — one of the most powerful solutions on the market for unloading bulk materials from railcars. The VH-200 is engineered for maximum performance by focusing force directly on the railcar’s discharge hatches, where materials often get stuck during unloading. This precision design improves process efficiency, reducing downtime and boosting productivity.
The product offers the following key advantages:
The VH-200 is one of the most powerful vibrators for railcar hatches currently on the market, delivering up to 280 Joules per impact.
Low Frequency: With an impact rate of 7 blows per second, this vibrator ensures rapid and effective material discharge, even in challenging conditions.
Durability and reliability: The VH-200 is designed for challenging environments, ensuring long-term reliability and minimal maintenance requirements.
Versatility: This product is suitable for use with a range of railcars (with vibrator mounting points) and bulk cargo.
The VH-200 Mobile Pneumatic Vibrator represents the optimal solution for the handling of bulk materials in railcars, offering a means to enhance your unloading operations and streamline your logistics processes.

VH-500R for rotary tippler
While rotational systems for unloading railway railcars are highly efficient, there is a risk of some cargo, particularly wet cargo, remaining in the railcar in the event of a tipped-over railcar. The VH-500R vibrators, installed on the railcar tipper, help discharge the railcar as completely as possible.
The VH-500R is a customisable solution based on the VH-500 unloaders, designed to integrate seamlessly with your rotary system. To discuss your requirements in more detail, please do not hesitate to contact us.
