VH-500 railcar vibrator

The standard VH-500: up to 550 J straight to the wagon frame, two units per wagon, one operator. A typical wagon takes up to 5 minutes including clean-up.

Where it is used

Hopper wagons with a frame the vibrator can brace against: mineral fertilisers, coal, cement, ore concentrates and other bulk cargo that cakes or freezes slightly in transit.

Honest limitations

If cargo is frozen solid all the way through, vibration will not discharge it — thawing is needed first. At 2–3 wagons a day professional equipment usually doesn’t pay off.
