This page explains what Global Technics OÜ does with personal data on gltechnics.com. It describes only what actually happens on this website — nothing is listed here “just in case”.
What we collect, and when
When you send us an enquiry
The enquiry form asks for the following. Only your name, email address and message are required; the rest is optional and helps us answer faster.

If you use the savings calculator and then choose to send the result, the figures you entered are added to your message. Until you do that, they stay in your browser.
This website has no online chat, no newsletter, no comments, no user accounts and no registration. We never ask for a personal identification code or a postal address through this website.
When you simply browse the site
Our hosting provider records technical request logs, as any web server does. They keep the site available and let us investigate errors and abuse.

Analytics and ad measurement — only if you agree
Google Analytics 4 measures how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate region, device type, and events such as sending an enquiry or downloading a datasheet. If you accept all, we also let Google Ads count which of our ads led to an enquiry, so that we pay only for advertising that works. If you choose “Analytics only”, Google Ads measurement stays off. Nothing starts until you accept, and refusing costs you nothing — the site works exactly the same.
If you choose “Accept”, this browser tab also remembers, until you close it, which Google Ads campaign, search keyword and ad click identifier (gclid) brought you to the site, and sends them with your enquiry. We use them only to see which advertising leads to real enquiries. They are kept with your enquiry in our email and customer records for as long as the enquiry itself, and we do not pass them on to anyone. With “Analytics only” or without consent nothing is remembered: an enquiry sent from the page you arrived on carries only the campaign name that is already in that page’s address.
If you accept analytics, for 60 days from 16 October 2026 we also keep our own visit statistics: for each page view, the network part of your IP address (the last part is removed, so it does not point to a single device), country, browser, the page and how long it stayed open. We use them once, to see what share of visitors come from company networks rather than home or mobile connections; we do not try to identify individual people. From 24 October 2026 each record also notes which website brought you to the first page you opened in the tab — only its name, such as google.com, not the full address. With “Accept” it also notes the Google Ads campaign and whether you came by clicking an ad: only yes or no, never the click identifier itself. This shows which advertising and which websites bring visitors from company networks.
If you choose “Accept” (all cookies), the site also loads the Leadfeeder tracker. It checks which company the network you are visiting from is registered to, and shows us that company’s name and the pages viewed. If you then send us an enquiry, Leadfeeder links the name and email address from the form with your earlier and later visits, so that we can see which products you looked at. Without an enquiry it does not tell us who you are, and on home and mobile connections it usually finds no company. We never write to anyone “we saw you on our website”.
If you agree to analytics (“Accept” or “Analytics only”), the site also loads Microsoft Clarity. It shows us how visitors use our pages — scrolling, clicks, mouse movement and the point where people leave a page — so that we can see which parts of a page are hard to use and improve them. All text and images on the page are masked in your browser before anything is sent, and nothing you type into the enquiry form is recorded. We do not give Clarity your name or email address, and we do not use it for advertising. Without your consent the Clarity script is not loaded at all; if you withdraw consent, recording stops, the Clarity cookies are deleted and the page reloads.
Cookies
We do not use cookies to personalise advertising or to follow you with ads on other websites (remarketing).

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw it, we delete the Google cookies and reload the page.
How we use your data
To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation or a technical assessment
To keep the correspondence, order and delivery records that follow from it
To protect the form against automated abuse — it counts submissions per hashed IP address and uses a one-time token
To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful and which ads bring enquiries — only if you accepted
To learn which companies are interested in which of our products and, for people who sent an enquiry, which pages they viewed, so that we can prepare a better answer — only if you chose “Accept”
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who else processes your data
We work with a small number of service providers, each acting under a data processing agreement and each with a specific job.
Vercel — hosting of this website and the technical request logs described above
Upstash — short-lived technical state of the enquiry form: a counter per hashed IP address and a one-time token. If your enquiry cannot be delivered by email, the enquiry itself is stored there for 14 days, so that we can still reach you instead of losing it silently. With your consent to analytics, it also holds the visit statistics described above for 60 days.
Zone Media OÜ — the email service that carries your enquiry to us and our reply to you
Google Ireland Limited — analytics and ad measurement (Google Analytics, Google Ads), only after you accept these cookies
Leadfeeder (Dealfront group, EU) — identifying the company behind a visit and linking an enquiry with earlier visits, only if you choose “Accept”
Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited — Microsoft Clarity, showing how visitors use our pages, only after you agree to analytics
We do not sell personal data, do not pass it to data brokers or “business partners”, and do not hand it to other companies for their own purposes. The only advertising-related use is the ad measurement described above, and it runs only with your consent. We disclose data only where the law obliges us to.
Legal basis for processing
Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request — handling quotation requests, engineering assessments, orders, delivery and warranty service.
Legitimate interest — responding to enquiries, protecting the website against fraud and abuse, and improving our products and service.
Legitimate interest — identifying which companies visit our product pages, to plan our sales work. We have weighed this against your interests: the information is about companies, and you can object at any time. The Leadfeeder cookies and the linking of an enquiry with your visits rely on the consent you give with “Accept”.
Consent — analytics and ad measurement cookies, and our own visit statistics. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
Consent — Microsoft Clarity, which shows how visitors use our pages; it runs only after you choose “Accept” or “Analytics only”, and you may withdraw consent at any time.
Legal obligation — accounting, tax and export-control records required by Estonian and EU law.
How long we keep it
Quotation requests and business correspondence — 3 years after the last contact.
An enquiry that could not be delivered by email — 14 days, after which it is deleted automatically.
Accounting documents (invoices, contracts) — 7 years, as required by the Estonian Accounting Act.
Website analytics data — no longer than 14 months, the maximum Google Analytics allows for event data.
Your cookie choice — stays in your browser until you clear this site’s data; it never reaches our servers.
Engineering files and drawings you send us — 3 years after the project closes, unless a separate NDA sets a different term.
Technical request logs — kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics.
Visit statistics — 60 days, after which they are deleted automatically.
Visit data in Leadfeeder — on our current plan we see visits from the last 7 days; the data is deleted under our data processing agreement with Leadfeeder when we close the account.
Microsoft Clarity — page-use recordings are kept for 30 days; a small random sample of them and aggregated reports (heatmaps, scroll depth) are kept for up to 9 months.
Your rights
Right of access — you have the right to request copies of your personal data.
Right to rectification — you have the right to request corrections to any inaccurate data or the completion of any incomplete data.
Right to erasure — under certain conditions, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data.
Right to restrict processing — under certain conditions, you have the right to request restrictions on the processing of your personal data.
Right to object to processing — under certain conditions, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
Right to object to company identification and to linking your enquiry with your visits — at any time and without giving reasons: choose “Decline” under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to stop it, and write to us to have earlier records removed.
Right to data portability — under certain conditions, you have the right to request that we transfer the data we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you.
Data security
The whole site is served over HTTPS. The enquiry form is protected against automated submissions, and the enquiry reaches us as email over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who handle them.
Children
This website addresses businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children and have no reason to expect enquiries from them.
Links to other websites
Articles on this site link to external sources, and product videos are served from media.gltechnics.com. Once you follow an external link, the privacy policy of that website applies, not ours.

The controller of your personal data is Global Technics OÜ, registry code 12875353, Narva mnt. 5, 10117 Tallinn, Estonia. For any privacy or GDPR request — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability — write to sales@gltechnics.com with “GDPR request” in the subject line. We reply within one month.
Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, info@aki.ee, +372 627 4135, or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
International transfers
Our analytics and ad measurement provider, and the provider that holds the short-lived state of the enquiry form, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or on an adequacy decision. Leadfeeder processes data mainly in the EU; where it uses providers outside the EEA, it relies on the safeguards of Chapter V of the GDPR. Microsoft may process Clarity data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses.
Changes to this policy
If what we do with data changes, this page changes with it. The date below always shows the version in force.
