Rockhammer RH-200 impactors clear bridging, sticking and blockages in steel bunkers, silos and transfer chutes — automatically, by preset program or blockage-sensor signal.
Why material stops flowing
Bulk material locks itself inside the vessel: an arch forms over the outlet, dead zones build at the walls, chutes clog. Fine powders — cement, chalk, lime, apatite concentrate — compact during discharge and stop flowing. Heavy materials — ore, concentrates, coal — hang up in large bunkers and silos. The usual answers are a sledgehammer or bolt-on eccentric vibrators. The sledgehammer dents the walls and solves nothing; eccentric vibrators are not enough for the hard cases.
How Rockhammer works
The RH-200 is built for the hardest cases — when other systems give up. Powerful (up to 280 J) but infrequent impacts work on the wall without destroying the weld seams of the steel structure. The impactors are welded on at the critical points — bunkers, silos, transfer chutes and conveyor troughs.
Fully automatic
32 preset operating programs. Connect a blockage sensor and the Rockhammer system watches the flow itself: blockage detected → impact series → flow restored. No standby man with a sledgehammer.
Honest limitations
The RH-200 mounts on steel structures only — not on concrete silos. Because of its power, we always assess the structure strength and wall thickness before installation — it's part of the engineering selection. The system is designed for large bunkers, silos and conveyor lines.
