Why cargo cakes and hangs up

The longer bulk cargo travels in a wagon, the damper it gets — and in freezing weather that moisture freezes and blocks the discharge. This applies to mineral fertilisers, coal and other bulk cargoes alike.

How vibration solves it

The VH-500 delivers powerful low-frequency impacts — up to 550 J each — directly to the wagon frame. The hung-up mass and ice crust break loose and discharge through the hatches. One operator runs the whole process — from the unloader body or by remote control. The equipment can work down to −40 °C (with special oil and dried air).

How much time it saves

Typical wagon: 15–20 minutes of manual unloading → up to 5 minutes including clean-up.

Extreme case — damp urea after long transit: up to 10 hours of hard manual work per wagon → about 30 minutes with the VH-500.

Honest limitations

If cargo is frozen solid all the way through, vibration will not discharge it — it needs thawing first. Ice crust and hung-up material are routine work. And honestly about volumes: at 2–3 wagons a day professional equipment usually doesn't pay off — unless a single wagon takes 10 hours to clear.
